Statement: "The majestic California Condor was driven to near-extinction by DDT poisoning, lead poisoning from hunters’ bullets, poaching, and habitat loss. This iconic species survived because of a captive-breeding program, but recovery is still a big concern as a large percentage of released condors have died. Condors are still dying from lead poisoning, although lead ammo was banned in California. Condors are also succumbing to bird flu, which comes from factory farmed chickens. 

I will donate 20% of the purchase price of Spirit Wings to the Ventana Wildlife Society.”
